BACK HOME

Ive been late in posting so I have a bunch to tell you.
our trip was fantastic!!! the dogs had a blast our cabin was perfect except for all the stairs these scared me with my uncoordinated morons. Kali actually lost a few lbs having to use stairs did good for her weight but hell on her arthritis. Kali went tubing with us and so did Misti they both did super even seemed to have fun.
Misti did alot of swimming and playing in the yard. they all did great with the trip up and back.

Denali had a great time at summer camp she had a beach day and just played hard with her new friends.

I missed Kenai like crazy thought of him every 5 mins I will always wonder if I should of taken him but at the moment I had to make a decision and his health was first.
he seemed to of had a great time being spoiled by his grandparents.

6 days after we got home Dakota gave me only 7 pups very unusual for her she has never gave me any less then 10. Luckily I only have 1 deposit and I am able to fill it.
So far all pups are healthy. 4 black boys 1 yellow boy 2 yellow girls.

since being home Denali has had no accidents in the house YEA finally I think she is potty trained however I am still not allowing her in the living room. not yet

I cant stop crying!

here it is the 14th of June I have been planning and waiting for this day to come for 6 months. our trip to the cabin starts today. But my sweet boy Kenai is in trouble it looks like he has herniated a disc in his neck. he can barely walk. He is screaming in pain. hes on pain meds and steroids and he has to crated for 8 weeks for his neck to heal. This trip is more for my kids then me everything I look for in a cabin and yard and activities I do with what can my kids get out of it? is there something here that my kids would enjoy? Now he cant do any of it. I am devastated over this.

Denali Gets Sick

so Denali went to the vets last week for her rabies shot come to find out she has a UTI infection.    she got a shot of antibiotics and meds for the next 10 days. No rabies shot yet she has a fever and is too sick. Poor baby gotta get her better for her sleep over summer vacation.


Kenai went to 24 hr Disney we were there from 5pm to 5am he was so tired but he had a great time.

Why is it so hard to get a box of chocolates

so it was a no go on Eragon I couldn't get him to even try until day 17 whats weird is Dakota is still bleeding.
Kenai has plum lost his mind!!! he wont eat or sleep.

the puppies are all moved to the big pen and they are all eating and drinking really good still nursing every few hrs.

Danali is getting way too big for her cage.
she is also doing very well on the potty training not many mistakes any more!

wish I could use 2 dads for one litter this way I could use Kenai and know that at least I have a litter coming I haven't missed my window of opportunity. But I could let Eragon do what he wants in hopes of him finally figuring it out at his own pace. and if they both took I would get all 3 colors. but I stay honest with my AKC rights always have always will. 

GROWING PAINS

the pups hit 3 weeks old 2 days ago I feel some teeth breaking through. so far this litter is very quiet they are very happy and content. had my first pup fall out of the baby pen today so moving to the big pen this weekend. Sat is a big day all my buyers finally get to meet there babies.

put Dakota & Eragon together today for breeding he seems mildly interested and she is still sitting and barring her teeth so she is obviously not ready yet. we will try again tomorrow I hope & pray Eragon figures it out!!!!

Love at first sight.

I picked up one of the puppies today and I got 2 beautiful blue eyes staring back at me. We have eyes in most of the pups. Love the phase that they star barking at this age its way too cute for words.

Dakota is in heat hoping Eragon can do his thing its time!!! I want another breeder and Dakota is perfect for him to learn what he is doing.

Chocolate puppies due in July? we shall see.

ALL IS GREAT! WELL NOT QUITE.

Misti had 9 black puppies on the 9th of April all went great for delivery it took 12 hrs from the start of Labor to the first pup but once she got started she went fast we were all done by 1 am. we got 6 boys and 3 girls I thought I would have to do refunds but everyone of my buyers adjusted to what I had yea!!!! Now my biggest worry has come to rear its ugly head Mistis once again has a bad case of Mastitis UGH off to the vets we go I find a new vet I have never been to they offer me a coupon for a free office visit so now all I have to do is buy the antibiotics not bad I think WRONG the damn meds cost me over $100,00 just for meds oh and to top it off she has an ear infection.Luckily I have ear meds at home I can use. now its another day and her rock solid lumps are actually worse I ordered a breast pump to help pull the infected milk out of her. Luckily I do think the med is keeping her fever in check its only 102 & I have no doubt she would be way higher if she was not on these meds. I think one of the biggest issue is the pups hate nursing on the 2 last breasts she has a slight deformity in her nipples back there the milk flows just fine but the nipple is almost flush instead of sticking up so the pups pass it up and then it gets engorged and infected.
